UBIIM, an initiative by C&C Burford Consulting Ltd, aims to eradicate hunger, malnutrition, and poverty in Africa by empowering smallholder farmers with essential tools to boost food production and secure financial prosperity for the farmers.

Our mission is to connect farmers with capital, investments, and product solutions required to optimize crop yield, increase productivity, and promote organic, natural, sustainable, and regenerative agriculture.
It matters to us how the food is grown—because food safety starts from the ground up!
Funding
The biggest challenge facing farmers in Nigeria is the lack of capital, which delays their access to quality seeds and essential farming inputs—critical necessities given the seasonal nature of agriculture. By connecting them with grants and low-interest loans, we empower farmers to focus on their work, boosting productivity and strengthening agricultural livelihoods.
Research/Information
We believe that the key to solving Africa's agricultural challenges lies in developing homegrown solutions. By partnering with farmers and institutions, we identify and create effective responses to a wide range of agricultural issues. Additionally, we leverage technology and AI to empower farmers with the latest knowledge, enhancing their practices and driving sustainable progress.
Tools and Irrigation
Many farmers in Nigeria and Africa still rely on cutlasses and hoes, limiting productivity due to a lack of access to irrigation systems and modern implements. To enhance productivity, we are providing portable ploughing and processing machines that empower farmers with the tools they need for success.
Transforming Food Production
With over 30% of crops lost to pests, diseases, and bacteria, and another 45% lost to poor storage and fungi, our solutions are vital for food production. Path-Away effectively eliminates these losses, boosting farmers' profitability and lowering food costs for consumers. By significantly reducing harmful chemical use, it promotes sustainable agriculture, fights climate change, and ensures the safety of farmers, soil, and aquatic life.

Affectionately known as Obi, he is a passionate advocate for social change and sustainable practices, dedicated to improving the lives of others. As a Mission Pastor in Nigeria, he supported the poor and needy in various villages. Recognizing the challenges in agriculture and healthcare, Obi founded C&C Burford Consulting Ltd ten years ago to transform organic agriculture and create effective solutions for infection control across Africa.

Patrick holds a master's in business and public administration, bringing extensive experience from a startup that evolved into a multimillion-dollar enterprise. As an educator and passionate advocate for food security and sustainable agriculture, he delivers lectures and shares valuable knowledge to empower farmers in Nigeria. He liaises with institutions on research and engages with farmers and the government..

His commitment to supporting local communities drives his efforts to empower farmers and ensure they receive just compensation for their hard work.
